This website is a blog by Erin Flanagan (@erintegration). She is an educator that is all about integrating tech into the classroom. To make it short--she loves finding innovative ways to include technology, iPads are her go-to, and she deeply appreciates Google.
When I first opened up the website, I immediately saw her latest post titled, "10 Ways to Set Yourself Up for Successful Parent Relationships." In this, she literally gives 10 ways to help open the line of communication. As an educator, to me, especially with little ones, having a good line of communication with my student's parents is key. There is nothing that I will want more than to get along with my student's guardians well enough to really be able to talk to them about not only the good the child is doing at school, but also the bad without having any issues! What is put into this blog post is all super relatable and all easy to do. One of them is even just trying to have a good relationship right off the bat! Another one is letting the parents see what the child is doing at school. All good stuff.
I think what I love most about this site is just how easy it is to get around.

As you see above, almost everything almost has its own button. I can navigate myself around effortlessly. My favorite tab is the "Free Resources" one. While it is locked by a password, one I give my name and e-mail address, I get to unlock all of the free things that her site has to offer. She has TONS of cute and engaging work pages--one is even FIDGET SPINNER PROBABILITY. Seriously, go here to plug in your information and get access to this stuff. You don't wanna miss out.
I also really really love the iPad and Google activity tabs. Again, seriously, go to her blog and look at it for yourself. Whether you are in school to become an educator, or if you already are one, she has so many amazing ideas! The one that got my attention was:

SEESAW. If you have never heard of this app, please click here to read about it and download it on your Apple iPad. Currently, I am a preschool teacher, and we use this app. Because we are open from 7:30-5:50 Monday-Friday, parents don't get the chance to see their children socialize and see their creations.
This app lets us PROTECTIVELY take photos of our students, their projects, and also them interacting with each other. We get to add the parents to the app, and they get notified when we tag their child in a photo, video, or project. Click here to read this blog post from Erin's iPad activities page! |
I. love. this. website. so. much.
Besides that, the last thing that I want to talk about is her SHOP. Yes, that's right, she has a shop at teacherspayteachers, and it is amazing. She has free activities and decorations as well as games and activities you can pay for!!! In case you were not sure what teacherspayteachers is, here is the site. But, to put it short, it is a place for educators to come together and share their word for pay and for free!

Overall,
I am in love. Completely in love.
Erin Flanagan put so much work into this site, and it is extremely evident. I have added all of her social media to mine, and am so excited to start using some of her projects!!!
5/5----hands down.
